How to Carry and How to Fold Unbreakable® Telescopic Umbrella U-212s
Important Instructions Because Unbreakable® Telescopic Umbrella Got Popular with the Wrong Kind.
It is normal that the Model U-212s’s handle spins freely when the telescope is retracted. When the telescope is extended, the handle and the rod are blocked from spinning but one can overcome the lock with mild force.
For the Model U-212s telescope’s blockade to hold well, the rod has to be pulled energetically, with a snap, so its ball-bearing lock can engage fully.
Whenever your umbrella gets wet, leave it open to dry. Allow your umbrella to dry fully before folding. Otherwise mold will grow on the umbrella’s fabric. As mold grows, it creates enzymes, which digest the fabric’s fibers on which it is growing, causing permanent fabric damage and weakening, with a result like this case described.
Our Unbreakable® Telescopic Umbrella is for defending against elements (in every meaning of the word) and not for clowning. It is covered in a high-quality waterproof fabric, not in abrasion proof or slash proof fabric, because it has to look, weigh, and work like a normal umbrella, so do not expect this fabric to be undamaged if you strike objects with the Unbreakable® Telescopic Umbrella.
Like many others, I was initially excited and wanted to like this product a lot. However, after several uses, I was left with nothing but disappointment. Perhaps those who had better experiences got the cane model, but I wouldn’t know. I chose the more compact U-212 telescoping version, and while it has a solid and sturdy shaft that could conceivably do some damage as an impact tool, its ultimate weakness lies in its use as an umbrella. It’s just too flimsy.
This week has been particularly rainy in my area, and I discovered that the canopy frame lacks the rigidity to withstand even mild or moderate wind gusts. I’m talking about average winds of 5-10 mph. While other umbrellas can maintain their structure, this one bends to the point where the canopy wraps around your head, leaving the rest of your body exposed. In a nutshell, it’s only ideal for rain when there is almost no wind. Anything beyond that, and you’ll end up taking a bath.
By comparison, I have much cheaper umbrellas that do a far better job of withstanding winds. It’s worth noting that the wind tunnel test for this umbrella was done with it facing away from the wind, rather than into the wind, as is done with the cane version, which I found rather peculiar.
The bottom line is that while the idea of a dual-function umbrella is nice, its execution still needs improvement to make it a truly functional everyday tool, rather than something that ends up as an expensive gimmick collecting dust at home.

Great quality as an umbrella, even better to have some additional security when out in the world. Size is easy to carry/store and does not attract attention or limit access to secure locations

I will feel a little safer walking the anti-gun democrat cities now.

It will not fully open, I have bought 3 from you before and This purchase is a big disappointment (Plus the material of the cover seems much, much cheaper than my 3 previous purchases).
How do I send this back for a refund?
